I am impressed by what a great,easy to read book this is. A great book for those
shy guys around town. Also a must read for older teens and
college students too. If the guy is to shy to buy, then a
friend should buy it for him....or a Mom....or a sister.
Well written with a good sense of humor
The "Shy Guy's Guide" is full of straightforward, well organized, common-sense, and effective information for men who are looking to meet and relate to attractive women. Come to think of it, there's great advice here for anyone who would like to increase their comfort level and improve on their ability to interact with new people, whether for personal, social, or business reasons.
I especially enjoyed the direct, no mincing words, writing style of the author! Very refreshing!

Arlene Newman's delightful book is written with understanding, wise simplicity and in a down to earth manner. Ms. Newman offers refreshing, insightful advice and tools on how to accept, work creatively with ones shyness and perhaps see shyness as an asset in attracting that special women.
I give this book five stars and look forward to a companion book for women!

The book is a practical guide to coupleship. You have to find another bird of your feather and this book tells you how to go about finding your "flock" mate. Go where you like to go and talk to someone who looks like they like to be there, also. Pretend you work there. "May I help you select something appropriate> 5 stars. I can hardly wait until the guide for women comes out. Recognize you in the person you are seeking. Good and practical advice.
Waste of money. Did not help at all. This book was filled with a bunch of nonsense. Waste of money.

I was looking around for a book that I could give to my relative who is a little on the shy side. I read Arlene Newman's book and felt that it had excellent tips and insights. I look forward to a companion book for gals.
